VIDEO: GET TO KNOW YOUR DIGITAL CONVERTER BOX

FOX 13's vice president of engineering, Mike Howey, talks about the digital converter box and explains how to hook it up.
Want to know more?  Read Mike's engineering blog.

If your TV pulls its signal off the air, you'll have to buy a digital converter box for it to keep working after the February 2009 transition.

You can find digital converter boxes at most consumer electronics stores; they usually cost between $50 and $60.  But the government is offering $40-off coupons to make them more affordable.

Those coupons must be ordered from the government, and you can only get up to two.  Click here to fill out your order online or click here to download a form you can print out and mail.

You can also call 1-888-DTV-2009 to order.
