A living piece of history roared through the skies of Polk County back in 2007. A restored World War II-era bomber visited the Florida Air Museum in Lakeland.
Aviation buffs and veterans gathered for tours of the B-17 Flying Fortress 'Aluminum Overcast' and some even went for a ride.
