It's one of the largest employers in the Bay Area, but most people in the Tampa area don't know much about it.
It's MacDill Air Force Base, and it was the subject of a FOX 13 Hometown Friday live morning show in May 2008. The Good Day Tampa Bay team got to fly with a KC-135 crew, try MREs, and even get up close with some security K-9s.
