FOX 13's SkyFOX often flies over breaking news scenes, but sometimes it's nice to stop and look around at the scenery. 

Here's a look at the early morning view from 500 feet as pilot Randy Powers took the helicopter over downtown St. Petersburg and back to Tampa on one recent morning.
