It may be the most powerful radar in America, but FOX 13's SkyTower HD Vipir was beginning to show its age.
The original radar dome from 1989 was no longer protecting the radar properly, so it was torn down and a new dome was put in its place. The work went several days and temporarily altered the look of one of Tampa's landmark structures.
